THE SCIENCE OF GETTING RICH | By Wallace D Wattles | Six Principles to make your wealthy.

The Science Of Getting Rich With The Science Of Being Great

About The Author:

Wallace Delois Wattles ( 1860–1911) was an American New Thought writer. He remains personally somewhat obscure, but his writing has been widely quoted and remains in print in the New Thought and self-help movements. Wattles' best known work is a 1910 book called The Science of Getting Rich in which he explains how to become wealthy.

Summary Of Book:

There are three resources - time, money and opportunities that we want to be successful in life and be wealthy and everyone thinks these resources are never at their side. But what if someone told you that you can create these resources by yourself and there is inexhaustible amount of them waiting for you if you think in a right way.

In this book author have discussed six principles if applied correctly in your day to day life will change yourself and achieve your wealth goals:

1.    Competitive to creative mind:

You may have seen if to person are in same type of business but their earning from them is very different. Why? As the author said if you  are doing a business and your neighbour shop is in the same business then rather than providing negative reviews about his product to customer you should be more focused on providing new facilities or solving their problems related to that service or product. If you will do this that customer will tell about your good services and help that you have provided whole heartedly and hence will advertise your shop for free. So, you should put competition aside and put more focus on services by asking them for feedback and listening and solving their problem.

2.    Gratitude:

I would like to tell you a story of a school going child Alex. His school was nearby his house so he used to go school by walking. One day after school he went to washroom and as every child and staff were out of school so watchman put a lock to every classroom and washroom for security purpose. Security guy missed to look if anyone was inside washroom and locked the gate but after sometime he returned after searching all classrooms and washrooms and unlocked Alex. When Alex reached home he told what happed in school, after listening to this her mother had a meeting with school principal. Principal called that watchman and asked how you came to know someone was locked inside washroom in a way of doubting that he must have done something, but he replied every children come to school and wish me good morning and good evening when they leave for home but Alex is the only child who take care of him very much by asking if he had lunch or not and many things like that. On that day in morning Alex wished him and have a quick talk with him but not in afternoon when he use to leave for his home, because of this watchman thought he might be inside school and started searching for Alex. As depicted by author we should always thank and appreciate others.

3.    Thinking in a certain way:

As author says you should have to be clear what is goal and having a purpose with faith which will help you to understand that what you are trying to achieve is already yours and you have to just receive it. To become rich you will have to use your will power and your imagination which will help you think positively and take quick and right actions.

4.    Value:

Suppose you have a painting and you sold that panting to an eskimo using my selling techniques but that painting is of no use for him as it will not add any value to his life and it is of no use to him. Rather than selling a painting you should have sold him a gun which will be valuable for him to hunt and feed himself and his family. By this story author want to convey whatever business we are doing we should value our customers even at low margine of profit as it will make you profitable in long-term.

5.    Acting in a certain way:

As per the author you have to make a clear and definite picture of your goal and do what you have decided in above four points. You have to take action to accomplish your goal if you have given so many time to make strategies how you can achieve you goal then you should follow that strategy.

6.    Efficient  actions:

We usually do our work inefficiently because we are busy doing multitasking. Rich people distribute their work and do only important work, this can be developed by you and try to do one thing at a time with full effort.
